My Approach

In order for psychotherapy to be successful, it is important that you achieve the goals that brought you into treatment. This may include relief from addictive and compulsive behaviors, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, job difficulties, or overarching patterns of thinking about yourself and the world that limit your innate ability to lead a rewarding life of your own choosing.

After initial sessions devoted to understanding the reasons that brought you to psychotherapy, your objectives and goals for treatment, and accumulation of biographical information, we will work towards your stated goals. I will partner with you to ensure that our interaction is genuine, empathic and compassionate. Through timely questions and strategic suggestions you will gain a deeper understanding of repetitive cycles that interfere with your ability to lead a more satisfying life, and, at the same time, you will develop skills that promote resilience, self soothing, and mastery over different life challenges.
